Travel by air from Entebbe to Kihihi for a focused 3 day stay in Buhoma, the northern trekking sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park . Your driver guide meets you at the airstrip for the private transfer to your luxury lodge.

Fly from Entebbe to Kihihi and Transfer to Buhoma
After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight to Kihihi Airstrip. On arrival, meet your driver guide and private safari vehicle for the road transfer to Buhoma.
Travel through southwestern Uganda's countryside towards the forest. Check into Gorilla Forest Lodge, an A&K Sanctuary, or Trackers Safari Lodge, according to your confirmed package.
Lunch is arranged around your arrival. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and preparing for tomorrow's trek. Your guide will confirm the briefing arrangements and help you prepare your daypack.
Optional lodge or community activities can be arranged separately if time and availability allow.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi's Buhoma Sector
Have an early breakfast, collect your packed lunch and travel to the Buhoma briefing point. Register with the park team, meet your ranger guides and receive instructions for your gorilla trekking experience .
Enter the forest with your assigned group and follow the guides towards the gorilla family's location. The trek can take several hours over steep, muddy or uneven ground, depending on the gorillas' movements and the route.
Once the family is found, spend up to 1 permitted hour observing the gorillas. Watch adults feeding or grooming, mothers caring for infants and younger gorillas playing among the vegetation. The behaviour you encounter depends on the family that day.
Follow the rangers back to the trailhead and meet your driver. Return to the lodge when the trek ends and keep the remaining afternoon free for rest and relaxation.
Buhoma to Kihihi and Return Flight to Entebbe
After breakfast, check out and transfer by private vehicle from Buhoma to Kihihi Airstrip. Your departure from the lodge will be coordinated with the scheduled flight check-in.
Fly back to Entebbe, where onward arrangements depend on your travel plans. Transfer to your hotel or residence, or continue with airport connection arrangements when your international flight timing allows.
Lunch is arranged around the confirmed flight schedule. Your luxury Bwindi gorilla safari ends in Entebbe.
