Trip Overview
The Masai Mara is what most travellers picture when they close their eyes and think of an African safari — golden-grass plains stretching to the horizon, lion prides on kopjes, leopards in fig trees, and the world’s most concentrated population of plains game. This four-day classic safari delivers the canonical Mara experience: a comfortable Wilson Airport light-aircraft transfer (45 minutes vs. 5 hours by road), three full game-drive days from a tented camp inside the reserve, and a Maasai cultural visit that goes beyond the touristic version. Big Five sightings are nearly guaranteed; during Migration season (July–October) this is also one of the world’s greatest wildlife events with 1.5 million wildebeest crossing the Mara River.
