Trip Overview
Tanzania’s Northern Circuit — Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater — is the most complete classic safari in Africa. Each park has a completely different character: Tarangire’s baobab-and-elephant wilderness, Lake Manyara’s tree-climbing lions and groundwater forest, the Serengeti’s endless plains and Migration, and the Ngorongoro Crater’s Big Five caldera. This eight-day safari connects them in a logical loop from Arusha, with two nights at the Serengeti at the appropriate Migration zone.
